.450 Centerfire. 4" barrel. SN: 97. English blued metal finish with small parts in the white mounting one piece checkered walnut grips and lanyard loop to butt. Double action six-shot loading gate revolver featuring the four screw frame and forward cylinder stops indicative of the Webley RIC No 1 First Model revolvers. Left frame is struck with the {Flying Bullet/W&S} logo of Webley & Sons followed by WEBLEY'S/PATENT at lower frame. Right frame struck with a further logo that has been overstamped with inventory number 3241. Serial number 97 to frame and grips with mating number VII cut into cylinder pin and mainspring. The cylinder is numbered 77. Item shows Birmingham firing proofs to all major parts. {ANTIQUE}

Good to Fine. Bore is primarily Bright with strong rifling throughout, and pinpoint pitting near muzzle. Item retains a flaking blue strongest on cylinder, edges of frame, and barrel. Finish worn to brown patina on gripstrap and handling surfaces with brown flecking scattered overall. Some scratches and nicks to the edges of the metal. Continuous drag line to cylinder. Grips with some handling dents and scratches. Action indexes the cylinder, but the cylinder stop fails to prevent it from spinning.
