.219 Zipper. 20" barrel. SN: 10467 (Applied during remanufacture). Blued metal refinish mounting walnut straight wrist stock with crescent butt, full length magazine tube, and saddle ring to left receiver. Lever-action repeating rifle fed by an internal magazine and mounting front bead sight with folding tang LYMAN rear aperture. Markings include a weak MODEL 1894/-WINCHESTER-/TRADE MARK REG. IN U.S. PAT. OFF. on the tang. Replaced barrel is struck with caliber marking .219 ZIPPER. Forend has been sanded and embellished with diamond shaped bone inserts. Butt appears to have been for an older Winchester model with the tang channel filled in with wood fill beyond steel tang. (FFL)

Fair to Good. Bore is dirty with some residues that may clean to Bright with crisp rifling throughout. Receiver with mottled oxidation and patina to forward half with scattered brown flecking over the entire rifle. Rust on crescent buttplate and screws. Upper buttplate screw spins freely, indicating the channel is stripped. Stock fits with substantial gaps around tang, suggesting it was shimmed or resized with wood fill. Substantial chips and handling dents to butt and forend. Action functions when cycled by hand.
