F.A. MFG. CO./HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A. address. The circled {Rampant Colt} appears on the left slide behind cocking serrations. Right slide is marked AUTOMATIC COLT/CALIBRE 38 RIMLESS SMOKELESS. Good. Bore is Frosty with strong rifling throughout, mottled brown patina, and light pitting. Metal finish to slide primarily brown patina with streaked blue remaining on lower edges. Blue has faded to brown patina on gripstraps with edgewear, streaks, and scratches overall. Grips show handling wear and a spot of flattening on left panel. Brown mottling to hammer. Strong nitre blue to trigger flanks. Action functions when cycled by hand.
