A poster depicting a hand grasping a rifle against a stark black and red background. In white lettering to the top is “Por Las Armas,” translating roughly to mean “by force.” At the bottom of the poster in red scrawling text is the message “La Patria el Pan y la Justicia” which translates to “For the Homeland, Bread, and Justice.” This phrase was prominently used by the Nationalist faction during the Spanish Civil War of the 1930s.
