A Revolutionary War provision receipt from Baltimore County, Maryland, recording that Mr. Thomas Amos was paid "two hundred and two pounds ten shillings" for "Ten Bushels and half peck of wheat at twenty pounds pr. Bushel".
"An act for the immediate supply of flour and other provisions for the army," with the document entitling the bearer "to receive from the State of Maryland the current market price on this day, with six per cent. interest theron."
