.45-70. 28" round barrel. SN: 27597. Blued and color casehardened finish, iron furniture, checkered straight grip hardwood stock and checkered forend. Single shot Sharp's patent dropping block rifle with tang mounted vernier sight, globe front sight and folding, semi-buckhorn barrel sight. A nicely executed modern recreation of the classic Sharps "Buffalo Rifle" by U.S. Sharps Rifle Company, who had them made by IAB of Italy. {FFL}

Fine. Fine bore is mostly bright with some old powder residue. Metal with most of the finish intact with some thinning and very minor high edge wear. Markings clear and crisp. Mechanically functional action. Wood with some scattered light marks, surface scuffs and minor dings.
