With an article titled "Tightening Net About Suspects" with further reporting on anarchists and a portrait of Emma Goldman. She was implicated when Leon Czolgosz claimed to be inspired to assassinate McKinley after hearing a speech by Goldman. Despite Czolgosz denying her involvement, she was held for 2 weeks and subjected to intense police interrogation.
