Scene in Passo del Nort. Mexico. Outdoor albumen stereoview. Topeka, Kansas: J.R. Riddle, n.d. Publisher's imprint affixed to mount verso with ink inscribed view title.

An interesting view of the Alhambra Saloon in El Paso as part of the series of views from along the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railroad. A group of three men in suits, filtering out of the saloon as a carriage crosses their path. More directly in front of the camera is a cart stacked full of wood, drawn by four oxen. A horse is seen near the rear of the cart, while gentlemen driving a cart observe the scene, seemingly as they are exiting the frame.

A charming glimpse into the bustling scene of El Paso.
