To you and your dear ones with loving appreciation of your loyal faithful service to God's lowly red children. The Indians we feel your have worked so quiety but effectively during the troubled days of National strife among Nations (when all our work has held much hardship but overall God reigns and we pray His loving care shall Keep and bless youy. Be request of the Indian Division, Lida W. Chesnut, Supervisor. Dec 25 1942."
A fine copy of a Cherokee New Testament with an interesting inscription between two women who are evidently involved in some capacity with the "international Indian community."
