An original poster from the 1968 "Blues Bash" festival. Featuring the design of two wendigo spirits butting heads. Their horns extend out to spell out the name of the festival, with the headlining acts featured below. The poster is illustrated in beautiful blues, purples, oranges, and yellows.
The Blues Bash festival took place from July 9-13, 1968 at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Fransisco, California, and included a lineup of acts such as Electric Flag, Buddy Guy, Freddie King, Blue Cheer, Ike & Tina Turner, and Freddie King. The festival was presented by Bill Graham (1931-1991), one of the most influential music promoters of all time who was known as a large contributor to the flourishing music scene of San Fransisco in the 1960s.
