Jack leather canteen-style ball shot pouch. N.p., circa 18th century. ## x ## in.
A very rare 18th-century canteen-style shot pouch crafted from jack leather. With two small suspension rings, the pouch could easily be strung with twine or sinew and carried in the field. It would have held round ball shot used in muzzleloading muskets of the era.
