.30 Carbine. 17.75" barrel. SN: 620660. Parkerized metal finish with blued small parts in sanded walnut semi-pistol grip low-wood oval cut stock with two-rivet upper handguard. Short-stroke gas piston driven rotating bolt semi-automatic rifle fed by detachable magazines. Factory markings include INLAND DIV to rear receiver and barrel marking reading INLAND MFG. DIV./GENERAL MOTORS/8-43. P mark to barrel with punch dots to rear barrel, rear receiver and on top of dished bolt. Serial number struck both in front of and behind Type III rear sight. Type III barrel band with JI stamp. Stamped trigger housing is unmarked and mounts rotary safety and CC/M marked magazine catch. Lacks magazine. {C&R}

Good. Bore is Bright with crisp rifling throughout. Metal finish shows brown patina forming at muzzle end of barrel and on rear receiver with some scattered scratches and abrasions. Wood furniture has been heavily sanded and refinished with a piece of the stock at wrist reglued.
