A collection of prints after drawings by Israeli artist Yossi Stern during the Six-Day War on 5-10 June 1967. The drawings depict scenes from around Jerusalem during the hostilities.
Born in Hungary, he immigrated to Palestine in 1940 when he was just 17 years old. He attended Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design and eventually joined the faculty. After Israeli statehood, his work was published in several newspapers, including Yedioth Ahronoth and Davar. Most of his work focuses on Jerusalem and its everyday citizens.
