A peaceful landscape depicting Pine Island at sunrise or sunset. Trees line the shore's edge, where tall, golden grass meets the water.
A Florida native, Johns "thrives to capture in painting the familiar culture, heritage and natural beauty of Florida," according to his website. He received his M.F.A. from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco in 2014 and has since traveled the world to create and teach others. Johns's style features contemporary imagery in a traditional look, combining past and present to capture a memory.
