.40 S&W. 4.25" barrel. SN: DWB9495. Black Armornite metal finish with black synthetic frame featuring interchangeable backstraps and accessory rail to forward frame. Short recoil operated striker action autoloading pistol fed by detachable double stack magazines. Standard make and model markings for an early M&P pistol lacking the forward cocking serrations. Item mounts an internal safety lock, magazine safety, and ambidexterous slide stop. Lacks magazine. {FFL}

Very Good. Bore is dirty with some firing residues that should clean to Very Bright or better with sharp rifling throughout. Some slight cycling wear to barrel, and thinning on high edges of slide. Frame shows some white residue to right butt, light abrasions around right slide stop, and a smooth spot to upper left grip. Lack of magazine has prevented a complete manual function check.
