A peaceful landscape featuring three steers lazing and grazing under a large tree. A path can be seen winding from the wooden fence in the back to the foreground, crossing a small creek.
Rodriguez is a mainly self-taught artist, focusing on "rural landscapes revealing the habits and daily life of the Cuban campesinos" (Nuance Galleries). His work is full of environmental themes, complementing his realist approach well.
