7.62x39mm. 20.5" barrel. SN: 9028122. Blued metal finish with matte bright finish on bolt and bolt carrier in lacquered Asian hardwood stock with folding blade bayonet. Piston driven gas operated semi-automatic rifle with tilting bolt fed by an internal magazine charged with stripper clips. Left receiver shows the Factory 26 stamp followed by Chinese type markings and serial number. Serial numbers match. Bayonet remains correctly unsharpened. Comes with a canvas sling. No importer marks visible. Butt void of tools. It is believed that Chinese Type 56 rifles in this serial range were manufactured in 1964, making it period correct for Vietnam. No bringback papers. {C&R}

Very Good Plus. Bore is Minty with sharp rifling throughout. Metal finish with some light abrasions at muzzle, scratches on triggerguard and magazine, and slight edgewear to butt. Stock has some handling wear and dents with flaking to lacquer finish. Sling with some frayed ends and dust in pores.
