Bolt action internal magazine fed repeating rifle charged with stripper clips. Forward receiver is marked FUERZAS ARMADAS/DE/COLOMBIA with the {Coat of Arms of Colombia} disc inserted to left stock. Left receiver marked MADSEN M. G/A. followed by the serial number. Rifle features a rubber butt, front and rear sling loops, and bayonet lug. Only 6,000 Madsen M47 rifles were produced under contract with Colombia, where they saw little use before being surplussed. {C&R}

Good to Very good. Bore is Very Bright with sharp rifling throughout. Metal finish has some grease residues to seams. Flaking of enamel at muzzle and on upper receiver with brown patina forming on the bolt handle. Some further brown flecking on bolt. Stock shows scattered light handling dents and marks.
