Two (2) sixth plate seated studio portrait tintypes. [New Haven, Connecticut]: ca. 1860s. Full thermoplastic case with "spray of strawberries" design (Krainik 92). Case maker's imprint behind photographs. Tinting to both subjects' cheeks.

Two sixth plates, one of a Union soldier and another of a woman holding a baby, housed in one case, likely insinuating the two adults were a couple. In lieu of a baby, the man is holding his sword and scabbard, while his pistol rests tucked in his belt.
