1. An 1864 election ticket from Boston’s 3rd Ward supporting George B. McClellan for President and George H. Pendleton for Vice President. The ticket features busts of McClellan alongside George Washington and Andrew Jackson, attempting to draw symbolic comparison between McClellan and these former presidents, although McClellan would go on to lose the 1864 election to Lincoln.
2. Vignetted bust portrait of George B. McClellan. Capturing George B. McClellan in a three-quarter pose, dressed in his distinctive major general’s frock coat, complete with shoulder straps and the characteristic double rows of buttons. His signature appears below the portrait.
