A collection of three (3) lithographs of Confederate generals. All are 4 3/4 x 6 3/4 in., framed to 5 3/4 x 7 3/4 in. The lithographs include: 

 

  1. Lt. Gen. T. J. Jackson. New York: O'Neill, post 1863. With text "From a Photograph taken a few days before his death" underneath name. This lithograph is based on Stonewall Jackson's "Chancellorsville Portrait" that was taken a few days before he was mortally wounded at the Battle of Chancellorsville in 1863. 
  2. Gen. Sterling Price. New York: O'Neill, n.d. Sterling Price (1809-1867) was the Governor of Missouri before he was a major general for the Confederacy. He is most remembered for his service in Arkansas during the Civil War, as well as being defeated at the Battle of Westport in 1864. This frame has no protective glass. 
  3. Gen. G.W. Smith. New York: W.G. Jackman, n.d. With text "From a Photograph taken from life" underneath name. Gustavus Woodson Smith (1821-1896) graduated from West Point and served in the Mexican-American War prior to being commissioned as a major general in the Civil War. He briefly took command of the Army of Northern Virginia on 31 May 1862, but was replaced the next day with Robert E. Lee. This frame has no protective glass.
