Paroled Prisoner's Pass. Partly printed document completed in manuscript. Signed by Brig. General H.M. Judah. Kingston, Georgia, 12 May 1865. 1 page, 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 in.
A parole pass for B.A. Camp (1835-1905), who served as a commissary sergeant in Company A of the 21st Georgia Infantry. Wounded twice in his campaign (Chancellorsville and Winchester), he may have joined Johnson's Georgia Cavalry after the fall of Atlanta, as his muster roll records are incomplete near the end of the war.
Confederate General William T. Wofford surrendered to Brig. General Henry M. Judah, the final Confederate surrender east of the Mississippi.
