An important association of Grosz's important collection of political portraits, inscribed and dated by the artist to the seminal film star of the era, Charlie Chaplin (1889-1977) at the height of his fame. 

This edition, published the same year as the first edition, is printed on superior paper, issued with a cloth-backed binding, and features two additional drawings. Grosz was a dedicated anti-Nazi, frequently lampooning their leadership in his art and his caricatural drawings, making him a prime target. In 1933, emigrated to the United States when Hitler came to power.
