A highly desirable pairing of sports memorabilia honoring one of the most dominant and legendary pitchers in the history of Major League Baseball, consisting of an original, raw 1962 Topps Sandy Koufax baseball card and a premium, vintage-style autographed Mitchell & Ness Los Angeles Dodgers reproduction home jersey.

Known for his blistering fastball and a devastating, sharp-breaking curveball that completely baffled batters, Sandy Koufax put together one of the most brilliant pitching stretches in baseball history during the 1960s. Over his celebrated career with the Dodgers, Koufax was a three-time Cy Young Award winner, a three-time Triple Crown winner, a two-time World Series MVP, and threw four no-hitters, including a perfect game in 1965. His regular-season dominance was matched only by his legendary postseason resilience, leading the Dodgers to World Series titles in 1959, 1963, and 1965 before his premature retirement due to arthritis at the peak of his career in 1966. This grouping combines a foundational early-career card with a premium, autographed jersey commemorating his initial championship season in Los Angeles.

This lot features an original, ungraded 1962 Topps Sandy Koufax card (No. 5). The 1962 Topps release is universally recognized by collectors for its iconic, faux-wood grain border design and the classic "curled-corner" portrait styling. The face of the card features a brilliant, youthful portrait of Koufax clad in his classic Los Angeles Dodgers cap. The reverse of the card tracks his early-career pitching statistics, highlighting his historic 1961 campaign where he broke a 58-year-old National League record by striking out 269 batters. The card remains flat, clean, and uncreased, with excellent contrast throughout the text fields.

The centerpiece of the lot is a high-quality Mitchell & Ness "Cooperstown Collection" vintage-style home jersey. Executed in a premium flannel-weight cream fabric, the jersey meticulously replicates the specific tailoring and design worn by the club during their inaugural championship season on the West Coast. The front features the iconic script "Dodgers" emblem stitched across the chest in royal blue felt, accented by Koufax's bold red felt uniform number "32" sewn directly below.

The right chest panel features a beautiful, crisp signature from the Left Arm of God himself, executed in a bold blue ink that stands out vividly against the clean cream textile. The autograph displays his textbook cursive penmanship, reading cleanly as "Sandy Koufax." The lower right front tail features customized, royal blue embroidered script reading "1959 Sandy Koufax / Los Angeles Dodgers / World Series Champions" alongside the official Mitchell & Ness Cooperstown Collection manufacturer's tag. The reverse of the jersey features his famous number "32" cleanly centered in thick blue tackle twill felt.

This is a fantastic, read-made display for any baseball collector.

This lot is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Fleischer’s Auctions guaranteeing the signature’s authenticity and providing for a full refund should it fail authentication by PSA/DNA.

The grouping is in excellent condition. While ungraded, the 1962 Topps card features uniform, era-appropriate edge wear and honest corner softening, but retains an entirely uncreased body with no surface scuffs, pinholes, or paper loss. The Mitchell & Ness jersey is pristine and unworn, showing no signs of natural fabric yellowing, handling smudges, or loose threads. The Koufax signature is exceptionally bold, sharp, and crisp.
