Double action six shot loading gate revolver. Left frame shows 450 caliber marking {Flying Bullet / W&S} mark followed by WEBLEY'S /{ Manacled Hands} / M.P. marking. Topstrap is marked with dealer marking R. B. RODDA & CO LONDON / &7&8 DALHOUSIE SQUARE with barrel flat struck CALCUTTA. Item shows 19th century Birmingham proof markings and later, 20th century London proofs, indicating reproofing, after the firearm returned to England. Features a round cylinder with flat front ejector rod. Cylinder pin serial does not match, but the frame and cylinder do.

Metal finish flaking on the edges with scattered brown patinated spots and streaks overall. Some polished spots on edges of the triggerguard and lower frame. Grips with dents and scratches. Needs mechanical attention, action shows inconsistent timing, and occasionally fails to index.
