.320CF. 3" barrel. Blued finish and color casehardened finish, bright hammer and trigger, checkered one-piece walnut grip. Double action solid frame revolver with an unfluted five-chambered cylinder, loading gate, pivoting ejector rod stored along the right of the frame, top strap groove rear sight and half-moon blade front sight. Left of frame marked with a "TRANTER'S / PATENT" cartouche and the serial number, Birmingham commercial proof marks on barrel and cylinder. Barrel with "320" caliber marking. {ANTIQUE}

Very Good. Bore partly bright with moderate oxidation and crisp rifling. Metal with most of the blue intact on the frame and barrel with some fading, thinning and flaked loss. Cylinder likely originally color casehardened and now cleaned to bright. Loading gate with some nice case colors remaining. Markings clear and crisp. Mechanically functional action is tight with crisp timing, indexing and lock up. Grip with some light wear, showing minor flattening to the checkering and some dings and marks.
